Michael D. Bucca is a magna cum laude graduate of William Paterson University and has worked in the communications field for over 15 years. Mr. Bucca gained his technical knowledge while working for some of the largest TV networks in the country in various management, operational, and technical roles.
Mr. Bucca is very active in his community and has used his technical and social media skills for Rotary International as a member of the Rotary Club of Central Ocean, Toms River, NJ. He has held the roles of President, Membership Chair and Public Image Chair. Michael has worked to improve the social media presence of Rotary clubs all throughout South Jersey. He has also taught Rotary clubs how to use social media to advance their missions. Michael has also volunteered with other non-profits such as Ocean’s Harbor House, Habitat for Humanity, and other local organizations.
Michael is the recipient of two Sports Emmy Awards in the category Outstanding Technical Team Studio for his television work. In addition, Mr. Bucca was named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Central Ocean Rotary Club, and received the N. Willam Skidmore Award for Club Service by Rotary District 7500. Mr. Bucca was interviewed by the Rotarian magazine in 2018 for creating a new membership dues structure for the Central Ocean Rotary. A link to the article can be found here.
